Intrest repayment deduction on housing loan

A person wants to construct 1st floor on his fathers house by taking
housing loan but registry of house and land is in the name of his father.
So how should he proceed in preparing documents so that he can take benefit of intreset repayment of housing loan for construction of first floor.

Either buy property rights (FSI) of first floor of the house from your father with registered deed.

Or if approved by lonee bank, get NOC of the first floor usage independent rights from your father.
