intimation u/s 143
sir i have paid tax shortage of ₹860 which was demanded by the department in AY 2017 - 18, now do i have to inform the challan number to the department? or just keep the challan copy for future reference?

Inform the dept.. u can do it online..
if there is demand nd u already paid tax nd on intimation if tax benefit not avail, then give online response to demand as disagree then put challan info with Challan number other details

Agree with the demand and mention your tax deposited details.
don't agree demand, if u agree means u haven't paid that , now check u can give onother reply or not, if not then contact to AO
i agreed with the demand and also paid the tax. now weather i have to show the challan details if yes then wherr and how pleas hlp me
If u can submit another response then give your challan details else contact AO.
Sir/Madam,
I have submitted online IT return for AY 2018-19 alongwith Form 10E. I have received salary arrear of FY 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2017-18 in FY 2017-18 and TDS deducted by my employer for Rs. 7382/- in FY 2017-18. I have used calculators available in Google and also the one available in income tax web portal for filling up the Form 10E. It was showing a refund of Rs. 3780/-. IT Department has processed my return and sent me intimation u/s 143(1), which shows NIL refund. Can you please help me in this matter?
