Interest on late filing of income tax returns
Dear sir
due date for filing of income tax returns is extended to sep 2015.if iam filing the return on 04-09-2015 .
is there any interest applicable on taxble amount?

if before due date 234A is not valid
Nw due date 31-08-2015 or 07-09-2015
Due date is 7 September. In case you filr til 7th there won't be any interest under 234A
Due date is extended for the assesees in Gujarat only.

The due date has been extended for all assesses till 7 sept. Refer the new order u/s119 dated 2nd sept
