Interest of director in agenda items at extraordinary genera

He can act as the chairman of the EGM, however as soon as the particular agenda item comes, in which he is interedsted, the EGM shall be chaired by some other member mutually agreed upon by the members present in the EGM.

AGREED                    

he can act as a chairman only in EGM not in Board meeting if he is interested....because EGN is for shareholder not for director and everything is done there is in accordance with shareholder approval.. so not mean of interested director in case of EGM...

Not satisfied with Miss dipti and sakshi... because in GM ..there is no importance of Intereted director... chaiurman only act as Instructotr there nothing more.. he not eligible to vote for any matter in case of shareholder meetting

Dear Pravin,

If the Chairman is the shareholder also then he can vote at the meeting and if is interested in that particular matter then he cannot cast his vote.
