interest on National Savings Certificate and interest on National Savings Annuity certificate is exempt or not?
Also say the difference between both the certificates
Interest on NSC is not exempt. it's taxable.
However interest is eligible for 80C Deduction every year (except last year of maturity)
What do you mean by National savings Annuity Certificate ? Are you referring to pension scheme ??
