if an employee of company stays in a hotel and get the amount reimbursed from the company by claiming then can the company take GST ITC provided the hotel bill contains the GSTIN of that company and hotel as well, if it is so then what will be the period limit upto which the company take GST credit

I think the company can claim I TC
It can be claimed if such an expense is in the nature of business promotion or anything for the purpose of furtherance of business. However if it's for personal use of an employee and in the course of employment, then ITC cat be claimed.
Because services rendered by an employee is covered under negative list.
Yes I agree with above answer & you can claim last 6 months bills.
I want to ask some questions to all?
1) if the company and hotel is in different state if hotel charged sgst and cgst can company take ITC
2)Explain section 17(5) applicability before saying anything
