Dear Kiran,
I agree with Parv Kumar,
If your annual turnover is below 1.5 crores the no need to give HSN summary
But if your ANNUAL Turnover is above 1.5 crores then Mandatorily you should give HSN summary

I had a doubt regarding this & we called GST Help Helpline and some other experts they clarified HSN summary is mandatory if T/O exceeds 1.5 cr

They clarified that if T/O is above 1.5 crores then Mandatorily Taxpayer should mention HSN summary in GSTR 2
