Input cr can be claimed??
Our client running a business of beauty parlor and he is collecting the service tax and he also pays service tax on rent ...... can he claim input credit on service tax paid on rent

Credit of service tax paid on input services can be utilised for payment of service tax on output services by provider of output service. Since, service tax on rent paid would be input service for your client, credit of the same may be availed.
