Industrial training
Hello..
Please tell me whether an industrial trainee is eligible for a leave of 3 months for preparation for CA final exams as per ICAI guidelines as in case of articleship or not. If not, can I take a leave for 3 months and then cover the excess leave by extending the articleship period?

Dear Anusha,
The best way as i see it is that u can continue with your present employer till u take leave for exams (maybe 4 -5 months).. and then leave the present employer after exams are over... Then go for industrial training for the balance period of articleship.. it will require a lot of convincing the present CA though....
