Indirect taxation-how to prepare

Can any one suggest me how to prepare for indirect taxation foe ICWAI inter.I am not able to clear that subject.I am not taking any classes.Please suggest.

First it begins with which book you are using.

Banger is nice book. Self explanatory. You need to use scanner from shuchita / reliance to understand the weightage of each topic in examination and devote your time accordingly.

You need to prepare chapters according to the weightage in examination.

wud suggest to take mohd rafi for indirect tax ... its best for CMA students ... excise and customs shud be prperd thoroughly though other portions are also important .  ... PM me if u need mre clarifcation 

I would also suggest you to use the IDT book and Bangar. Further if you are not able to study and unable to understand the concepts go for group study and study with your friends.

You can also take the help of any senior student. Try and develop interest in the subject as this will help you to understand IDT in a better way.

for intermediate group 2 , im going to appear in the year june 2013, bt i m using module which is as per finance act 2011...so help me out by guiding me dat whether i shuld continue wid finance act 2011 or as per new amendment 2012...i m askin this for INDIRECT TAX
