ITR2 online filing

My Iwfes total income is less than 7 lakhs (including Capital Gains), filing ITR2 online. Paid taxes as calculated by software. While Validating, it gives error (A type) Rebate 87A can not be less than zero. When checked, it was showing -500. Corrected to Zero, tried validating again. Same error. Checked that even after I change it to zero, while confirming, it goes back to -500. Could not go anywhere.

Any suggestion?

Normal taxable income is Rs. 278000 and Cap Gains: Rs 335000, filing under New Scheme.

Check the Tax Calculation Software: Ensure that the software used for calculating the taxes is correctly applying the rebate under Section 87A and handling capital gains appropriately.
Verify the Income Tax Portal.: Try filing the return at a different time or check if there are any updates or patches available for the portal.

Thanks for the response. I am filing ITR2 online, so do not have any control on software or its update/patches. Have tried after a gap of a few hours. Will try again. Capital Gains tax, as calculated by online utility, appears ok. Only issue is negative 87A rebate its applying. Will try again, today. Thanks.
