Built a GST Invoice Validator for CAs — First 10 Get Lifetime 50% Off

Finally built something I wish existed when I was buried in GST invoice reviews 🙌

Hey everyone,

If you're a CA or GST practitioner, you know the drill — client sends over 50 invoices, you manually check each one for compliance issues, and somehow one always slips through. GSTIN mismatch, wrong HSN code, missing reverse charge mention... the list goes on.

I got tired of that and built InvoiceCheck.in — a browser-based GST invoice validator that checks your invoices against 15 compliance rules in seconds.

What it does:

  • Validates GSTIN format, HSN/SAC codes, tax calculations, mandatory fields
  • Gives a health score with penalty estimates
  • Flags exactly which rule is violated and why
  • Generates a clean PDF report you can share with clients

No software to install. Upload the invoice, get results instantly.

🎁 Special offer for the first 10 sign-ups: Get lifetime 50% off + exclusive early adopter perks — just for being among the first to try it.

Spots are limited and going fast. Head to 👉 invoicecheck.in and grab yours before it's gone.

Would love honest feedback from fellow CAs and GST professionals here. If it saves even 10 minutes per client file, I think it's worth it.

Drop your thoughts below — happy to answer any questions! 🙏

Quick Summary
A GST invoice validator tool was launched to automate compliance checks and reduce manual errors. Users suggested integrations (Tally, QuickBooks), AI OCR, global tax support, APIs, and workflow automation to scale and improve usability.

is it possilbe to integrate with Tally, Quickbooks and Zohobooks API etc please

Hi Ashok, thanks for the question! 🙏

Yes, integrations with Tally, QuickBooks, and Zoho Books are definitely on the roadmap. Right now InvoiceCheck.in works with invoices , which covers most use cases instantly.

Since you're asking early — you're exactly the kind of power user I'm building this for CA and  I'll personally prioritize the integrations that matter most to your workflow.

Would love to connect and understand your use case better. Feel free to DM me or reach out at rehansanjay28 @ gmail.com

Hi Rehan,

Thanks for the quick response and the additional details!

While I don’t have an immediate need for the standalone invoice validation facility at this very moment, I will definitely keep InvoiceCheck.in on my radar and may reach out to you in the future as my firm's workflow requirements scale.

Since you are open to feedback, here are some thoughts on how you could build upon this strong foundation, particularly focusing on integration, automation, and taking the product to a global level:

  • Direct API & ERP Integrations: Moving beyond manual uploads to offer seamless, two-way sync with global platforms like Xero, QuickBooks Global, Oracle NetSuite, and regional giants like Tally. Allowing validation to happen silently in the background of an existing accounting workflow is a massive time-saver.

  • Global Tax Engine Compatibility: To scale internationally, the tool will need to expand beyond Indian GST. Incorporating dynamic rule sets for VAT (Europe/UK/Middle East) and complex Sales Tax systems (US) would make the product universally applicable.

  • Automated Vendor Resolution: Building a feature that automatically drafts and triggers an email to the vendor when an invoice fails a compliance check (e.g., missing tax ID or incorrect HSN/SAC), requesting a corrected version without the consultant having to intervene manually.

  • AI-Powered Multi-Format OCR: Enhancing the ingestion engine to accurately parse and validate not just clean digital PDFs, but also scanned documents and heavily varied global invoice templates using advanced machine learning.

  • Bulk Processing & Enterprise API: Offering a robust REST API for larger advisory practices to validate thousands of invoices at scale directly within their own proprietary dashboards or data lakes.

  • Maker-Checker Workflows: Introducing role-based access where automated systems or junior team members queue the invoices, and senior consultants are only pinged to review the flagged exceptions rather than the whole batch.

  • Cross-Border & Multi-Currency Rules: Adding validation checks for international trade, including import/export compliance flags, correct foreign exchange rate applications, and cross-border tax treaties.

It looks like a highly promising tool that solves a very real pain point in compliance workflows. Wishing you the absolute best with the continued development!
