Indexation Benefit in case of unlisted shares
In case of unlisted equity share purchased before 2001 the year from which indexation benefit will be taken whether 2001 or 2018

It would be 2001 indexation
Unlisted shares do not retain . sell immediately. Indexation is available irrespective of whether listed or unlisted.
