Husband and wife, who does not have any monetary and financial relationship with the company, can be appointed as independent directors of public company on same day as per section 149 of the Companies Act, 2013.
i opine, only either of two can be appointed as ID, not Two.
Yes, Sec.149(6)(b)(ii) requires that independent director should not be related to any director of the company.
