i paid the tds payment for the month june 2016, and its comes AY-2017-18 but i mentioned in online payment for AY -2016-17 ,So if i filling for tds i mentioned only AY-2017-18 for Q1 . but i paid the challan mention assement year -2016-17 .pleas give me the suggesion wats the procesure chenge the ay-2016-17 and aplly to 2017-18 for filling Q1 purpose.

If in Challan you have mention AY 2016-17, don't worry, income tax department can adhust one AY up or down. don't change challan you can proceed without modifying challan.

only one problem Arise which is default in filling in TDS Return i.e. Challan Not match.
But generally department avoid this type of default. you can talk with TDS Department on 1800 103 0344 for further clarification.
