Income tax ward circle

Hi friends,

Could any one say, if an assessee change his place due to job transfer say for example from delhi to kolkata, then which income tax jurisdiction (ward circle) he should use.?

please help me it's urgent.................

AS per the IT act there is no need to change of Juridiction the salary employee can file roi any where in India no need to worry about this

Then if I use his delhi ward circle, and there is any notice of income tax to attend ,he has to go Delhi....is it?

You should not use the code of old residnetial address, use present address and present ward circle, AO code etc.

No he dont need to go to Delhi as mr vk bothra said use ur current adderess so that it authorities can communicate with u if they need for any information.

use present address in ITR and no need to change ward Jurisdiction with the Income Tax Department.......

Hello, I am a salaried person but somehow my income tz ward details shows I am a part of busines circle mumbai that is IT Ward 19(3)(3), lower parel, mumbai, i have been told to change it to salaried person which is there in CHurchgate mumbai. please help me
