Hi,

I need some help.

My father was hopsitalized for COPD treatment. The total bill was 1.1Lac.

Now, I want to claim the tax refund against it. I have all the bills & medical certificate.

But, in the medical bill generated by the hosptial, its mentioned "Exempted under sec 17(ii) of the IT Act". 

So, cal i claim it in section 80DDB.
