Dear All,
I request you to guide me, how to file return of deceased person. In this reference I have filed online request on incometaxindiaefiling website of representative assessee of deceased person but the request is get rejected because I have uploaded affidavit instead of 1. Legal heir certificate issued by court of law or 2. The legal heir certificate issued by the local state revenue authorities or 3. Surviving family member certificate issued by the local state revenue authorities.
In this context, guide me from where I can get the above doucments and what is procedure and how much time required to get the above certificates.
Further, kindly note that in my case, assessee is not govt employee, therefore it has been informed by Tehsildar office that he could not provide legal heir certificate issued by the local state revenue authorities.
I request you to all, please guide me further.
