If a person getting income from Directors remuneration and professional ( Doctor), can he file the returns in ITR4
please suggest urgently.

Income tax return filing in ITR4

ITR 4 is meant for an Individual or HUF having income from Proprietory Business or Profession.So A professional being a doctor in practice is required to file return in ITR 4. As regards, Director's remuneration he will file the return as per his individual income sources.If he is carrying on any proprietory business in addition then he is to required to file return in ITR 4.
