Meri bhua ji ki 19 January ko death ho gayi. Unke accounts mein nephew and brother nominee the. Unke accounts mein paise chale gaye. Kuch shares the jo unki behen joint holder thi, vo unko transfer ho rahe hai (in process), property bhi hai (but closed hai, no rental income).

yeh unmarried thi. unke kuch bhai kuware and kuch sister kuwari hai.

Sabki yahi icha hai ki jo bhi hai vo mere ko de diya jaye.  No one has problem.

vo ITR-1 fill kar rahi thi , kyunki vo retired state govt. ki employee thi. Abhi tak koi will nahi mili shayad ghar mein mil jayae par abhi tak nahin mili.

Question yeh hai ki is baar unke return file karni chahiye ke nahin or kya process hai , kaise inform kare Income tax deparment ko ki inki death ho gayi and aage se yeh return file nahi hogi?

.not required
You should file......
After death if there is tax libility then there is a necessity otherwise not

Income tax returns for a deceased person have to be filed if he/she has taxable income. His legal heir/representative needs to file the return on his behalf for the income earned till the date of death. The legal heir has to register himself at the income tax website to file the return on behalf of the deceased
