Income tax query 1

Respected sir

I have some querry regarding deduction of TDS amount on my arrear income. I have recieved arrear income of previous years from Nov 2012 to June 2015 and TDS has been deducted at 20% as the TDS amount had been added to present income without bifurcating year wise. Now, what am confused about is that how can i take the refund of the deduction that has been made because if the arrear is being bifurcated year wise from 2012 to 2015 then i fall under the tax slab of 10%. Kindly advice me on this matter. Moreover i have heard from one of my friend that i need to submit form 10E while some have suggested for revised return.

Kindly advice and guide in this matter. Your kind help is solicited.

Seek exemption under section 89. Check this https://www.incometaxindia.gov.in/_layouts/15/dit/pages/viewer.aspx?grp=act&cname=cmsid&cval=102120000000037085&opt=&isdlg=1
