Income tax on internet income

If you are a resident of India then all your income whether legal or illegal is taxable in India. So that income is taxable.

Yes, Income generated from Internet job it should be taxable under the head of INCOME FROM BUSINESS AND PROFESSION.

any income arises from legal or illegal business you should have be to pay tax on such income to income tax department.

In my opinion, this type of business should be legal business.

and any income accrue or arises in India or received or deemed to be received in india should be taxable in the hands of assesee.

you have not given full details about the work

Any typing job or any job in which no illegal activity is done on internet would be a legal income from online business.

It would be taxed as per provisions of profits and gains arising from business and profession.

There is no distinction between legal / illegal business ... all income is taxable as long as u r a resident in India.

However will there be no tds ? by the person paying you this income.

now, my concern is whether the internet buziness i am dealing with is PTC site (pay to click); short of clicking some advertisement in their site, for that they are paying $.

I am worrying whether such buziness is legal one or not; just because of making some $, i should not end up with any legal issues

if u get $ ub real then u can hire some high end personals to resolve these issues, :D but the question is the receipt of $, best of luck ( in case u can pay ur internet bills even with these $s)
