Q,.1:  I am a salaried tax payer. My wife housewife but earns approx 2 lakhs  yearly  through home tuitions and have around 15k Short-term capital gains from equity. Can she file ITR;  and do I have any tax liability on her income if she files ITR this year ?

Q.2: My two daughters (one married one bechalor) are salaried and tax payer. How much can daughter gift to her mother through cash or bank transfer in a year. Is there any tax liability to my wife on gift from daughters and any tax liability to me on income from gift received from daughters?

Ans- no tax liability shall be arise provided that Total Income should not exceed 250000.
further no gift tax liability on daughter to mother father of gift by cheque/ tfr/ online being coverd under Relative definition
