My father died in Feb 17. We have already filed tax for 2016-17. He had somr FD which has my mother's name as nominee. We have not closed those that time and when the maturity happened on jun 18 my mother claimed the amount via nomination. We see TDS deducted at source on maturity. Can we claim the TDS amount.

you can appoint legal heir by login to efiling website..go to 'MY ACCOUNT' head and click it.
in the drop down menu. click thel last item "ADD/REGISTER asrepresentative".
go on responding to successive instructions..in my case i got the confirmation in four days..
