Is pension of retired soldier exempted? If yes under which section.. Having income from pension and other source

1. Yes, there is no specific provision explaining the exemption of pension received by an ex-serviceman. Hence, just like normal pension income, the same shall be taxable under the head "Salary".
2. Taxable u/s sec 15.
