Quick Summary
A farmer uses their tractor to perform agricultural operations for others. The question is whether the income earned from this service is considered agricultural income or falls under a different tax head. The consensus suggests it's likely rental income, potentially classified under 'Income from House Property' or 'Other Income', depending on specifics. If the income is below £2.5 lakh and the farmer also uses the tractor for their own land without other income sources, it might be treated as ancillary to agriculture.

This would be a case of letting of machinery to farmers. therefore it's income from rental to be shown under INCOME FROM HOUSE PROPERTY.
Not comes under house property
It is a rental income should be shown under other income
If it's below 2.5 lakhs not tax, if you are having your own agriculture land and you use that tractor for your own agriculture purpose too and you don't have any income other than this then you can try for showing as ancillary business related to agriculture
