Dear CCI Members

We are Central Excise Registered Dealers.. We are Import the Goods from the Australia. and Sell the goods in India. and we pass on the CVD to our customers.

What the procedure for Documentation , When the Imported Goods are Return to the suppliers....?

We are Return the Material to suppliers for the Reason of Non-Moving Material.

No refund is available for the duties paid. The matter that it amounts to return of goods does not make much difference in export dpcumentation. Shipping bill, BL and invoice are must. FEMA side shall be taken care if foreign party is not paying back but makes only book adjustment.

we are Importer of goods from Germany , we place an order for import , supplier also send us goods though sea. when we opened the consignment material was not in good condition, so we have to return that material again to Germany , what procedure i should follow for returning that goods back...

Dear Mr.Mandeep singh,

Pls inform whether the goods are insured or not? if insured then you can claim insurance from insurance company.

The imported material can be reexported being not usable subject to terms and conditions of Import Purchase order.

We are central excise registered manufacturer. Few months ago we import some goods from USA. That material we fixed with our machinery and sale it within INDIA. After few days our client found some probleme in imported goods. Our supplier also accept his mistake and send free replacement of that goods. Now we need to send back rejected goods to our supplier. We also have UT1. So can anyone told me procedure for import return as per excise/custom.

Hello Sir, I have importer Some products from China as I am first time importer by Ocean , those are sourced by one of my friend at China. Now the problem is the products contains few of Children Playing Products of 10% (approx 150$ valued in total consignment (600 nos. of toys). When I go to Custom Clearing Agent, he told me the children products cannot be imported if there is no BIS certificates for Children Toys. I got a mail from Shipping Company stating that the consignment is arriving by 05th of June. The problem is what is the procedure to Clear the Customs for those products. 1. Is there is any penalty for the Children Toys if I need to clear the customs? If the customs not accepted to import toys without BIS.. 2. Is there any possibilities to leave the toys at customs and take remaining products? (If no penalties accepted by Customs People)..3. Last and final is... Return the goods to supplier, What will be the procedure to return. ( I will pay the return shipping. The seller is accepting return).

Hopefully I will get the information ASAP.
