First of all i'd like to thank caclubindia owners for creating such platform.
My query -
One of my client is a retailer in India and he wants to sell brands and products imported from abroad. But due to large database they cannot approach every brand owner for permission to sell their products on his store.
The products which he will be importing does not have any MRP in India, he plans to put his own price and sell it to customers over here.
1 - Can he buy products from abroad and sell it here without the need of brand owner giving him an approval, considering he is a retailer here and the articles which will be sold are expensive and premium.
2 - Is there a possibility the brand owner (s) can file legal suit based on above action?
