A kolkata registered firm taking and utilized the material in other state
which type of gst implimented on this transation
pls clearify
I think POS otherstate them cgst sgst

As xyz is registered in west Bengal. For them it is interstate purchase, so IGST is applicable.

but when we punch the invoice in tally erp and put the place of suupy himachal pradesh then software not picking igst

Place of Supply is West Bengal...

You will select "Place of Supply' is west bengal in Tally...

but place of supply actuly in himachal pradesh
and as per your view if we enter west bengal we have to issue the gst transit form
for long distance

Select "Bill to Ship to" in E-way Bill...
