in custom invoice you have to pay igst ... and you can claim this in your gstr 3B import of goods...
ok thnx..but if i sell these goods in another state before custom clearnce and after coming TWI i.e high seas sale then who will be liable to pay bcd and igst and what treatment on my sale?
custom duty is payable when you file bill of entry for clearance from custom department. GST act come in picture when there is involved of sale or purchase in Indian soil. as per the UN resolution high sea is not considered as a part of any country then you are not liable to pay GST to government of India or any other state in India. however you are liable to pay Income Tax as per the normal procedure to government of India on Profit on your trading activity
