IFRS are more in line with the Indian Standards [actually vice versa]. You can easily read the standards and understand them. You get to read short summaries of the IFRS in the IASB website https://www.iasb.org/Home.htm. The institue library may have IFRS resource materials available as they are planning to converge with IFRS
