IDT VS STATUTORY AUDIT

hi...all....I have cleared CA FINAL dis nov 2010 & nw i am confused as to which field should i choose ie IDT or STATUTORY Audit now.

IN future i want to join industry n so therefore nw want 2 join a CA firm so as to learn closely which industry to choose from .

But my confusion lies here that:

1) In industry are there any openings for IDT OR nt, espcly for Service Tax

2)If not den shld i go 4 stat audit and if yes den directly to industry or for sm yrs in ca firm n den move 2 industry

I have interest in both these field.
