why The Institute of Cost Accountant of India removed term "Works" from there name?

The "Works" was removed from the name in 2012 to modernize the profession's identity, moving away from a factory-focused descripttion. However, the plan to add "Management" to the name was dropped due to opposition from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, resulting in the current name: the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
