I should not have entered into ca- a terrible mistake

i think there is nothing to feel disheartened. Professional courses do take time. The harder the struggle,the more the gains. They are not testing ur patience alone but its common with many students. CA IS A PROMISING PROFESSION. its not the age or time spent that matters or the numb of degrees one has in his pocket but the inherent skills that go a long way in helping one rise up the professional ladder. most software courses also have several studnts struggling to find good jobs,while some even stuck up in between.
 

You hv got  no scope in ur life now. u hv already wasted 50% of ur life. Live ur remaining life doing social work!

YOU SHOULD NOT FEEL OR SAY LIKE THAT BRO

we all know ca course is tough courses and required more time dedication than other but this is much above than other

let me explain in some bullets

-in other like software industry you cant get desire job or position or money everywhere in the world.you have to be in some metro city while in ca you can generate good money even in town.

-software industries is volatile industry.today you have job but not sure about tommorow.

-if you become ca(and i know you will )than you have respect in society.but your friend is just deploma pass

you have come so far in the field of ca and has both practle and theory knowledge dont loose hope now.

let me tell you about my uncle he earns 30000 to 35000 pm by just writting accounts in the firm andhe is  not even graduate.

there are thousands of youth in india of our age and they still dont know what to do where to go...no experiance no knowledge...you had it all so dont give up at this stage and think positive.

Dear sir, I do agree with this. Because in the current scenerio, there is a way too excess supply of CAs (this isn't just my opinion; but most of my seniors, who are done with their CA, told me so). And the practicing CAs are taking undue advantage of the situation and making the newly qualifieds, to work for a meagre pay of Rs. 15-20k p.m. Anyways, I'm with you. I hereby promise that I'll never encourage anyone to do CA, in my life or atleast in the next 10 years (but at the same time, I won't discourage also if he/she is passionate about the profession).

And, I don't think I'm good enough to give you any advice. But still, please do enjoy your life. Always have fun. Enjoy your time. Have a nice life. Good luck

 Though I am far too young to advise a Senior like future CA, I would like to point out the obvious that it seems to be momentary bout of depression which has resulted in such a post. Though our freind has not managed to clear CA Finals, He has clearly learned many skills that are instrumental to CA Training.This alone is sufficient to land him a job .

In addition the experience and knowledge can be supplemented by doing some additional Course like FRM,CFA or DIFM. The base knowledge is there and there is a need of shaking of feeling of self pity and comparison with others.

As for the despondency and depression I am sure  "THIS TOO WILL PASS" as all the things do.

IF YOU WANT TO DO CA COME ,BUT I CANNOT GUARANTEE FOR PASSING EXAM AS ENGINEERING,

DONT GO WITH THE HYPE OF CURRENT SITUATION ,IF U HAVE INTEREST IN CA U COME,

BUT ONCE ENTERED ''YOU SHOULDNOT HAVE ANY ATTRACTIVE THING OTHER THAN CA''

YES,IT IS OUR RESPOSIBILITY TO SAY ABOUT ALL SHADES OF CA COURSE BEFORE RECOMMENDING IT TO SOMEONE,

I do not have much to write for you. However let me share my belief:

“By our constant effort and believe in what we are doing, we can really mould the unfavorable time into a favorable time.” There is no time limit defined for constant effort. I guess we have to put our best efforts throughout our life.

Further I do not understand one thing----when students are so depressed and stressed during study period than what would happen when they have to face the real professional life which is full of super high competition, politics, real life compliance issues, serious legal time lines etc.

It is better to leave CA now etc rather than committing suicide after facing problems and responsibilities of professional life.

You are free to interpret the message hidden in my above reply. In fact your interpretation will decide your “attitude” for me.

I think current market is gone though and hard. Company wanted to save cost of Salary if they find same compliance can be completed by non C.A. with low Salary so they prefer to appoint non C.A.  If C.A. not able to present expert knowlege in interview obviously how company will pay more/extra. Company need return on Salary investment.

Currently C.A. need to wait , learn and sharp your skill to attack for good position once the market comes up.

I have seen in my life that 12th pass earn 30K p.m.  Salary and C.A,. earn 20K p.m. Salary. This all depends on luck and hardwork.  We understand this course take lots of hard work to complete it hurts when people didnt get correct job. family pressure make you disturb. Be cool and patience in this situation.

Dear Ankur,
professional responsibilities are there whether or not you are professionally qualified.

But CA is the only course which is sucking the age,youth and energy of a person and leaves the person in the mid air.. The same effort had i put for some other course or had i put the same effort by working in a company I would have been well settled by now. my career would have progressed a lot. That is what i meant. Iam not a person who shys away from responsibility.

And by asking me to leave the course you have shown how rude and arrogant you are.
