I have joined new organisation from 9th may 2011. For last two month the company was not having any accountant. Now i have to stream line all the accounts. So can i get the trial balance for the year ending 31-03-2011 and on that base stream line all the accounting og the organisation which i have joined.
Please suggest
1)get all returns filed in hand make summery to get turnover of the company, reconcile with sale/purchase vouchers
2) get bank statement, tally with payments
if there was no accountant then it may be that last year accounts are incomplete, so maintain caution wihle finalizing the previous year balance sheet.
