Would need the possibility of changing a HUF PAN CARD to Individual PAN.
I had applied for an Individual PAN card almost 14 years back and the PAN card issued by Income Tax department is a HUF PAN card which I came to know recently. I have been filing the INDIVIDUAL returns every year with the same PAN number. Would need suggestion and the way forward on the following:
Can I apply for a new Individual PAN card - If yes do I need to surrender the HUF PAN card
Can the PAN number mentioned in my previous returns be changed to the NEW PAN NUMBER ( if I apply for the same)
What is the process of geting the above points done?
