in my form 16 the House Rent Allowance -section 10 (13A) is showing as 25000 but the rent i had paid was 8000 per month...so the balance can i claim it anywhere or is it gone?

HRA might be calculated properly as per formula.
Just check it out and if its correct then rest amount of rent paid cant be claimed
You can either claim HRA of 80GG
Check out which is more beneficial and consider accordingly
is there a limit in 80gg?
There is a formula in 80GG so try that formula and check
in my form16 the house rent allowance is shown as 35500...but i pay more rent so y and i declared to my hr too about the same and gave them the recipts still instead of total rent y they showing only 35500? and does it mean the rest of rent i cant claim at all?
