HRA DEDUCTION FOR RENT PAID TO RELATIVE WHO IS NOT THE OWNER OF HOUSE

Can HRA deduction be claimed if Rent is paid to Married Sister, who is not the owner of the house property rather her mother in law is the owner. although the rent is paid through banking channel and Relative (sister) is showing such income in her ITR.

Pls post actual conditions for the relative.
Yes, You can claim the rent paid.
But, Get Receipt from the Landlord.
Provided you do nit own a house in the same city.
