HRA DEDUCTION

I am salaried person. I received HRA from employer.
Can i claim deduction as per sec 80GG instead of in salary calculation
exemption of HRA calculated as per salary will add and deduct as per 80GG..

Salaried employee receiving HRA cannot claim deduction under section 80GG
Mr. Kumar if you are paying rent than you can claim HRA exemption that too by calculating the exemption amount.
I am paying rent of 5000 pm whereas I am getting 3000 pm as HRA . In my case what would be the deduction pm I can claim. kindly guide
Salary eligible for GPF/PF also required along with City where residing.
gross salary is 53000 residing in Rajahmundry
As per figures provide by you. Sorry you are not entitled for HRA exemption u/S 10(13A)
kindly explain why? what is the calculation
Bhai mere man ja.However your yearly work out figures are:=HRA 36000 (2)RENT Paid 60000 -10%of Salary63600 =0 (3)40% of salary 25440.Minimum of above is Negative/0 .So your Exemption from HRA is Nil .Be brave life is not in calculations. Good A.N.
