Assesse is not having RENT RECEIPT, though all rent payment is thorugh corss cheque, rent agrement is also available. can assesse calim HRA

Imployer didnt considered HRA benifit in form 16 as assesse did not have rent receipt.

Rent reciept is necessary though rent agreement is made and all payments are made thru crossed cheque. Without rent reciept, no HRA claim.

Yes, the assessee can claim the benefit of HRA. The house owner can be asked to issue a receipt
 

is there any specific formet for rent receipt. or on any receipt books available in stationery shop can be used.is  normal one rupees stamp & signature on receipt is suffician ?

IT companies usually accept a consolidated rent receipt for all 12 months with name and address of rent reciever along with crossed cheque nos .given for the amount along with your pan card number . It needs to be signed by owner.

Are yaar agar cheque main rent de raha hai, to tension kis bat ki, stationary soap se rent receipt lelo aur bhar ke dedo, kam khatam...........................
