I live in my own house in Faridabad with family. If I decide to move ALONE to Delhi on rent then can I claim HRA? Should I pay tax on deemed rent on Faridabad house, where my family will continue to leave?

if you own more than one house then only you are required to show deemed rent for the second house. from your question it is not clear if you own more than one property.

You can claim HRA only when you saparates from family in legal provisions, because Income Tax has made provision with each person each tax. Provisionally basis of Income which you earned including HRA can only exempt limit to Sale Rate not elsewhere.
