I resigned from company A in May 2012 and joining company B in July.
I am living on rent and was unable to claim HRA for April-June from employer A.
My questions are:
1. Can I submit HRA claim for April-June to employer B when I am joining employer B from July?
2. If not, what are my options to claim HRA for April-June timeframe?

you can't claim HRA for the period, which is beyond your term of employment, from the employer.
Regarding claiming HRA from previous employer, HRA is a part of your CTC. How come you are unable to claim it? i am not able to understand?
