How was the Costing Paper CA Final old Syllabus?

Paper was easy..but a bit lenghy.....v need 4hrs fos such papers....3hrs for solving the problems and 1hr for understanding what to solve

paper kaha se asaan tha bhai, 1st quetion 19 marks bouncer,simplex method 7 marks bouncer,4 (a) transfer vaala swinging delivery 15 marks.

this makes 41 marks which i think was difficult.

baaki 59 me se kuch 22 marks ki theory.

i dont think its lengthy....we can easily completly this paper. but i made some mistakes. doubt whether i will be able to get  atleast 50

costing paper is too lenghty but managable one

Costing Old syllabus May 2010 Paper was not so lengthy but the Question No. 4(a) was very much lengthy as it involved many Adjustments. The question was from Decision making regarding Existing Profit calculation,Transfer pricing and Utilisation of additional capacity. Such que are horrible to understand and solve without any mistakes. If any one who have started solving from that question then they are bound to miss many other questions.I have left the same question because after solving all rest questions there was only 15 Min left to solve it which is next to possible.
