How to verify correction in tds challan fields.

Hello,

There were corrections in 'Nature of payment' field in 3 challans and I have submitted correction appiication to AO of IT.

Could you please tell me how I can verify that the corrections have been made? Can I check it online? It has been 10 days since I submitted application for correction.

Hi,

You cant view. But you can call to Traces Customer care and get details regarding changes.

If you have remit tax to wrong section, its no issue now. You should show the correct section while e-tds return filing. The Traces people accepted. TRACES only full control for TDS now.
