How to update employment details in icai member card

Hello All,

When clicking on the below link, my (our) professional details are being displayed:

www.icai.org --> Members --> Members records as on date.

The ICAI Member card will be displayed after entering our details (such as M.No and DOB)

I'm not in practice and I would like to update my employment details

As of now the status is as below:

 
Status Holding COP : No Employment : No Part-Time Paid Assistant : No Personal Practice : No
Proprieter    : No Partnership  : No Full-Time Paid Assistant  : No CABF Life Mem.   : 205436     Date: 08.Sep.2011
 

Please let me know how to update the current and previous employers details.

Some of the employers are using this link to verify my credentials and on finding no details are questioning me about the same. Though I am able to prove my employment with the appointment / relieving letter / payslips, I would like to know this method also.

Hi Nalinikanth,

You can't change your details directly on this link:

https://220.225.242.179/reprintletter/membercard.aspx

You have to wait till you receive your printed member card (the same as appears on this link) from the institute which is printed on 31st March every year and mailed to members.

This card has to be resent back to the Institute by 30th April every year with either of the following possibilities:

1. All information is correct; so you have to sign and resend by that date / If you don't, Institute will assume after 30th April that its records are correct as on 1st April of the year.

2. Some information is incorrect / missing; so you correct the incorrect information / fill in missing information, sign and resend by that date
