Employer fails to deduct tax and tax is paid by employee as S A Tax after 31 march. While filing TDS return can employer reduce the TDS amount to be deposited by him to the extent paid by employee? How the credit for the amount paid by employee can be given in form 16 \ TDS returns ?

I dont think, It can be reflected in Form 16. The tax paid by the employee has to claim credit indivdually at the filing of return

Regards

In that case the employer will have to again pay tax before filing the TDS return otherwise it will be treated as short deduction.
