Quick Summary
This discussion addresses how to declare and carry forward capital losses from previous financial years when they were not initially filed. The user is seeking guidance on the correct Income Tax Return (ITR) form and procedure to amend or declare these missed losses, specifically mentioning Schedule CFL and ITR-2.

Use AS 5. prior period changes

AS 5 is ITR form ? how to fill it and declare loss for ITR filling this year.

sry, I think ITR 1 must be used for capital gains issues and instructions

For individuals having salary income along with income from business or profession are required to use ITR-3 form for filing ITR.

ITR 2- Income from Capital Gains/loss on sale of investments/property (Both Short Term and Long Term)

I misunderstood cfl  for cash flows for some reason :)

Yeh. ITR2 to be filled. but, question is that I missed to delcare it in previous year ITR filling. so, can it be show as loss in previous year while filling ITR2 of this year ?

Sry you have procedure doubt. I hope someone here with expertise reply to solve your issue. I did not do ITR 2 yet
