Hello all,

I want to register my company but i got confused due to limited option in service tax form options. I want to know how to fill the services and range in my service tax registration form

my service are

website designing

web hosting

SEO

domain registration

email marketing

sms marketing

Please help me to fill the form.

create your user id on aces.gov.in & you wll get all the desired details

Dear Veer,

The registration form is only a procedure for registration but the category of services are to be decided based on the definition of services which is provided in Service Tax Law (i.e. Finance Act 1994).

From a Broad look of the nature of the services mentioned your primary category of services would be Online Information and database service. A in depth understanding of what services you provided is needed to provide the accurate category of service.

visit the nearest income tax department and have a word with Assessing Officer, to avoid future tax implications if services been wrongly categorised

Basically if you register your company then you have to first of all regsiter as private limited company but if you want just like a propreitorshiop firm registration in India then you have to apply for the service tax regsistration and then open a current bank account on the name of busisness.
