How to prepare for ipcc group-1?

Hello friends,

My name is Puneet Garg. I am 27 years old and i passed CPT in Dec 2009. I prepared for IPCC till 2012, but couldn't clear any group. Then i had to leave CA due to financial & personal problems (both of my parents died in Dec 2010). I have been doing dead end jobs since 2013. Now i really want to do CA but i can't leave my job untill March 2017 due to financial constraints.

My query is- My job timing is from 10am-6pm, Monday to Saturday every week. I really want to clear IPCC Group-1 in Nov 2016, and i have started studying but it seems i have forgotten everything. How should i prepare for IPCC-Group 1?

PS- I can't afford to leave my job until March 2017.

PPS- I can't afford fees of MBA (even after getting education loan), so please don't advise me to leave CA and do MBA.

Hey Punnet,

Try to make some time for theory subject inthe morning atleast 2 hours.

Always try to study your favourite subject in the night, but as you will have to study in the morning, not late than 12 or 1 o'clock.

Tax and Cost & FM will take some more time in comparison to other subjects, have patience.

Follow Munish Bhandari Sir's book for self preparation of law, it is more than enough.

Most importantly, as per my view, don't get stuck in any topic, if any topic is bothering you, get it properly solved by any expert within maximum 2 days, or else move on to next topic.

Don't let your strength weakens, and always make your weaknesses stronger than your strength.
