how to prepare for cs professional exam

For adv tax law go thru Banger n Banger.(u can go for any other ref .book)

And for all remaining subject go thru module/study material.

Plz make out New amendments,circulars related to subject.

Be genuine during ur training bcoz  from this u got oppournity to make strong and clear ur concepts.

MOST IMPORTANT THING FOR A CS PROFESSIONAL IS THAT  SKILL, COMMUNICATION, DRAFTING MUST BE PERFECT.

so do ur perfect job like sportman spirit.

i'm giving first 2 modules in june, 2010. Can you suggest some guidelines?

for 1st module-

paper 1- try to focus on drafting on resolutions, agenda's, notices and minutes and do much focus on enhancing your company law knowledge specially in basic topics and also on topics like Directors,BM, GM, etc....You can refer Sangeet Kedia Sir's Notes...it is best......

paper 2-do preparation from module only....ghole k pee jao module ko...

for 2 nd module-

paper 3- Financial management is not only about practical questions. Do focus on theory part too, for this purpose you can refer module....theory musibat me kaam aati hai....

pepar 4- Corporate Restructuring, isme bas sangeet kedia sir k notes uthao aur shuru ho jao....beda paar ho jayega....but ek baar module bhi dekh lena upar-2 se...
